I was so disappointed that I couldn't blog from my iPhone while I was in Spain that I just gave up trying to log on and make any updates through this medium. I still don't know if it was my cell service, the SIM card I tried using, my phone, or blogger.com. The photos I took with my phone didn't show up in my photo library so that I could select them and include them on the post. Words I tried to write literally jumped, springing up and down on my phone screen as I tried to type them. My iPhone screen wouldn't let me see all of my editing or command options. I'm not a technology expert by any means...but I'm not completely disconnected. Something should have worked. I tried everything I could until I finally had to admit that I was stumped.
I ended up posting my hiking days on FaceBook, the very thing I was trying to avoid when I started this blog. I dreaded flooding my FaceBook pages with everything I wanted to share...so I gave brief over views on FB on a daily basis, but left out much of what I wanted to explain. Social media posts on FaceBook and Instagram can only be so long before they're just too much.
I am planning on doing a gear review that details how my cruelty free pack worked out for me on my 500 mile trek. It should work as a great opportunity to let you know which things came in the most handy and which things I could have just left at home, cruelty free or not. I figure that I can get some photos in and explain to you how it went over there at the same time.
The trip on the camino was incredible. I can't wait to show you and tell you about some things I saw and some things that happened.
I'm ready to try and make up for my blog posting blunders. I will begin to post Camino related stories each weekend.
